In Memoriam

Arthur Frost sadly passed away on the 15^th of May 2026, following a long illness borne with fortitude, resilience and reserve.

Arthur first joined YNWA as a walker, and then trained as a walk leader, which led to him becoming a Nordic instructor, a role which he was extremely proud of. He stepped down from his Nordic duties in 2022 following Covid, however, he continued to lead the popular Monday afternoon walks until 2025.

Arthur was Chair of the YNWA committee, a position he was insistent on continuing with until his passing. He was not a man to give up easily, and continued walking until his ill health prevented him from doing so.

Arthur will be missed by everyone who walked with him over the years.
